The Estate of Marthanne Dorminy offers a rare look into the life of Marthanne Verbit, a concert pianist known for her distinctive programming and commitment to overlooked works in piano literature. Performing at major venues including Carnegie Recital Hall, Alice Tully Hall, and Wigmore Hall, Verbit built a reputation among collectors and musicians for her interpretive depth and intellectual approach to music. Her career included collaborations with leading institutions such as Juilliard School and the Library of Congress, along with recordings and commissioned works that expanded the modern piano repertoire.
